Steve’s Caravans bought and sold touring caravans and motorhomes from a farm in Northamptonshire, between Towcester and Milton Keynes. Its website set out to take the stress out of finding the perfect caravan or motorhome, whether you were a seasoned pro or trying caravanning for the first time.
It called itself mainly an internet based company: rather than paying for a fancy showroom with lots of sales executives, it preferred to focus on its customers and on providing an excellent service, and caravans were viewed by appointment. In 2015 the website spoke of more than ten years in the caravan business and a strong reputation in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, especially around Towcester and Milton Keynes, for value for money and a fast, friendly and reliable service.
Caravanning, the website said, offers complete flexibility and freedom, allowing you to go wherever you choose, whenever you choose, whether you are a couple looking to explore or a family heading out on an adventure. Under its Try before you buy offer, anyone who hired a caravan and then bought one of theirs had the full hire price refunded against it.
By 2024 the website covered Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire and offered servicing and repairs as well: any bump big or small, broken fixtures and fittings and the annual service. It still bought and sold motorhomes, campers and caravans, could sell yours for you, and offered storage. By then the business spoke of more than 20 years in the caravan trade.
